Catchy! writer caught going down for charity!
On 15th July Julian Bain was hauled 100ft into the air from the base of Edinburgh Castle and sent sliding to the earth along 180ft of wire
He was accompanied by 2 of Bedlam Theatre's crew (where 'Catchy!' is being performed at this year's Edinburgh festival) along with brave and mad souls from other Bedlam shows - 'Paradox: Set Phasers to Pun!' , 'Kid Simple' & 'Little Red Things'
Onlookers described Julian's descent as the journey of a demented Willy Wonka - arms akimbo, tail coat flapping in the air, boldly singing 'It's a beautiful day' the opening number from 'Catchy!'
The wire happy crew raised a tidy sum for the British Heart Foundation - organisers of the event, and kick started what is going to be an unforgetable fringe at Bedlam this August
